Anna Cederberg-Orretegaus modern

Anna Cederberg-Orreteg (* 1958 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish music teacher and composer.

Life

Anna Cederberg-Orreteg was born in Stockholm in 1958. She grew up in a musical environment – her mother Eva was a piano teacher and her father Ingvar was the director of the Stockholm Music School, where Anna received her first training. The instruments were piano and double bass. Anna formed her first singing group at the age of twelve, and ensemble singing has continued in various combinations since then – including the a cappella group À la carte between 1988 and 1999. She has also been a choir director and is a member of the Stockholm Cathedral Choir.

Throughout her career, Anna composed and arranged music for the students, groups or ensembles she worked with, which eventually led to further commissions as the music was distributed by various publishers.

Anna now works part-time at the school and devotes the rest of her time to writing. She also holds seminars and is involved in training music teachers or working with children’s and youth choirs.
