Duet

A duet (from the Latin duo ‘two’) is a musical work performed by two musicians (ensemble) or composed for this purpose:
– either with really only two participants in a work of chamber music;
– or with two (usually vocal) soloists accompanied by other instruments, especially as an aria with two soloists.
