Barbara Kolbergaus modern

Barbara Kolberg (* 1971) is a German organist and composer.

Life

1991 to 1997 church music studies (A-exam) in Freiburg, further organ studies in Vienna as a DAAD scholarship holder (1997/98), studies in early music education in Trossingen (1998/99), 1991 to 1997 musical assistant in the district cantorate and at the cathedral in Villingen, 1998/99 voice teacher and musical assistant at the Rottenburg cathedral singing school, 1992 to 1999 lecturer at courses in the diocese of Freiburg.

1999 to 2013 Cathedral organist in Freiburg. Extensive work as organist. Training and supervision of the cantors of the cathedral parish, organisation of liturgies for the liturgy of the day, collaboration in the city pastoral and the c-punkt MÜNSTERFORUM as well as work as a lecturer at the annual further training for the female religious congregations in the archdiocese of Freiburg. Until 2008 also lecturer within the liturgical-musical training of pastoral vocations in the Archdiocese of Freiburg.

Since autumn 2013 she has been working as a freelance musician and teacher.
