Katarina Pustinek Rakaraus modern
Katarina Pustinek Rakar (* 1979 Slovenia) is a Slovenian composer.
Life
Katarina Pustinek Rakar was born in Slovenia in 1979, she studied music theory, oboe, voice and composition and received a Master’s degree in composition and music theory at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
She actively collaborates with the best Slovenian choirs, is a member of the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir and teaches solmisation and music theory at the Conservatory in Ljubljana.
Her compositions include mainly vocal music (children’s songs, works for youth, women’s, men’s and mixed choirs), for which she regularly receives commissions.
