Ylva Skogaus modern

Ylva Skog (* 9 February 1963) is a Swedish composer.

Life

From 1994 to 1999 she studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, with Lars Ekström, Lars-Erik Rosell and Pär Lindgren, among others, and graduated with a Master’s degree.

Her portrait CD Terra firma was nominated for a Grammis in 2010.

She composes mainly chamber music, but also orchestral and choral music as well as electroacoustic music.
