Guzheng

Guzheng, also known as zheng or dscheng, is an arched zither (half - tube zither) with a long tradition that is played in classical and modern Chinese music. It consists of strings that are plucked with the help of finger picks, a wooden sound box and movable bridges. When tuning the instrument, the pitches can be adjusted by moving the bridges, unlike many other instruments where the bridges are fixed.
